In Place of Passing

‘In Place of Passing’ a bus project involving 8 International artists (namely Myriam Laplante (Italy), Roi Vaara (Finland), Zygmunt Piotrowski (Poland) Esther Ferrer (France) Boris Nieslony (Germany) Elvira Santamaria (Mexico), Kurt Johannesses (Norway) Artur Tajber (Poland)) and 8 National artists (namely Sandra Johnston, Alastair MacLennan, Brian Connolly, Dan Shipsides, James King, Eammon O’Donnell, Christine Gilloway, Bag-Trix Action Theatre, Brian Patterson) and hosts touring to various parts of Northern Ireland, making over 70 performances in 6 days. Interface hosted a performance Forum with workshops and discussions after the event. The performances took place in the following venues, St. George’s Market, Belfast, Derry City Walls, the Guildhall Square and Void Gallery in Patrick St, Derry, Mussenden Temple, Giant’s Causeway, and Larrybane Quarry beside Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Rathlin Is and Ballycastle. A Forum hosted by Interface where talks and discussions about the project took place followed the event.
